The sole purpose of this blog page is to provide a link to the location of the one, true Prophet or Madman:

You see, it has come to my attention that some folks get the blog title -- Prophet or Madman -- confused with the actual URL, which does not have the word "or" in it. This means that folks who are familiar with Blogger were tring to access my blog via prophetormadman.blogspot.com. Perfectly logical, right?

It's logical, it just didn't work. The Blogger-phile didn't find me. A potential reader was thwarted. ::: sigh :::

Now, that's kind of my fault. When I started Prophet or Madman in the latter part of 2004, I felt that truncating the blogURL by two characters would be a good idea. Don't ask me why. Maybe I just liked the way it looked.

Of course, someone not finding Prophet or Madman is not a big problem in the grand scheme of things. It's not even an annoyance in the minor scheme of things. Well, at least not for them. Me, on the other hand, I don't want to miss the opportunity to add to my reader base (which is undoubtedly lying somewhere south of ... oh, I don't know, three or four).
